I don't recommend pump action for skeet shooting, you want Over/Unders and Semi-Automatics shotgun for that. Pumping will take you off the target and considering the speed of the second skeet, you want every millisecond you got to get on the second clay. However, if you are shooting one clay at the time (trap) this is fine. I hope this helps!

Leonard, it would be fine. Practice increases efficiency with just about any firearm. I have shot skeet with Pumps before and not experienced any difficulty. Cheers and stay safe!
