Donald, VFGs are only an issue on pistols. The reason is that the federal law definition of "pistol" includes being designed to be fired with a single hand (even though most people use a two-hand grip), so adding a VFG to a pistol redesigns it to be fired with two hands. You can add a VFG to the VRF14 with no worries. Have a great day!
Yes, you can add a vertical foregrip. First this has a picatinny Rail to add one. If you're asking for legal reasons, this is not considered a shotgun or a pistol so adding a foregrip is no problem. Hope this helps.
Donald, yes Sir, no issue whatsoever. I highly recommend the FAB 7 Position : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/714018937/fab+def+7+position+folding+foregrip --- Cheers and stay safe!
