Paul, no this is not NY legal. NEW YORK Shotguns The following are prohibited: ✘ Semi-automatic shotguns that have one or more of the following features: 1. Folding / telescoping stock 2. Thumbhole stock 3. Fore-grip 4. Fixed magazine over 10 rounds 5. Ability to accept a detachable magazine ✘ Buffalo, NY: No semi-automatic shotguns with magazine capacity over five (5) rounds. Handguns The following are prohibited: ✘ Semi-automatic handguns that have one or more of the following features: 1. Folding / telescoping stock 2. Thumbhole stock 3. Fore-grip or other protruding grip that can be held by non-trigger hand 4. Threaded barrel 5. Capacity to accept a magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip 6. Barrel shroud 7. Manufactured weight of 50oz or more 8. Over 10 round capacity. -- This gun has 6 of the 8 'evil' features.
Unfortunately this one's also not legal in new York. Sorry but hope this helps
