This one is the 15inch model (Same as on the Precision Rifle) and is designed to work on Ruger "Short Action" rifles including the .223/5.56. Designed to fit the Ruger Precision Rifle only (will not fit AR rifles)

Ruger Precision Rifle From what I see it is included on the new Ruger Precision Rifle and offered for sale to "upgrade" the older Ruger Precision Rifle
