Where is this gun made? The Savage-Stevens shotguns are made in China, and not even by Stevens. They are made by a 3rd party manufacturer, which makes Stevens little more than an import company. Being that Stevens is owned by Savage, I would like to know where these are made and by whom.

Brian, made by Savage, they were being made in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada. Savage bought out Lakefield. They also have a facility in Westfield, MA.  Can't say for sure they are still being made in Canada. Have a great day!

This is manufactured by Savage arms. I'm reading all rimfire rifles are made in Canada, while center fire rifles are made in Massachusetts. I'd contact Savage arms at (800) 370-0708 for a more detailed and definite answer. Hope this helps.
