Model 16953 comes with Flush-Fit 4 rounds magazine. Model 26953 comes with an AI-Style 3 rounds magazine. Apart from that, it is all the same. I personally think AI-Style magazine is superior since you can get larger capacity magazines too, plus they feed well. I hope this helps!
16953 uses a flush fit Ruger magazine 26953 uses an AICS pattern magazine that will usually stick out - this will be easier to find mags for.
The only difference I'm seeing is the magazines. 16953 uses a 4 Round Rotary Detachable Box. While 26953 used a 3 round ai style magazine. Other than that they are identical. Hope this helps.
