I just checked mine since own this exact pistol. It breaks right around 4-4.5 pounds. It has a pretty decent trigger and has a set screw to adjust any take up. I assure you you won't be disappointed with this pistol. This was my first 1911 and quickly learnt why people love 1911s. Hope this helps.
