I emailed S&W. Question was is red dot cowitnessed with irons. S&W answer is NO. I am very surprised they're selling this as a performance system, and that Bud's has it as an LE weapon. If the red dot dies, you have no sights usable.

Unfortunately, most optics-ready pistols nowadays (even one cater to conceal carry) lack co-witness sight in favor of pure red dot. I think this can be fixed with aftermarket tall front and rear sight.

Richard, thanks for the information, Yes, you would think for the extra money a performance center gun costs, and the fact that is is LE only, it would be co-witnessed. Again, thanks for sharing that info. Have a great day!
