Kevin, yes this is CA compliant. Rifles of any caliber with tubular magazines (e.g. lever action) may have a capacity of more than 10 rounds (Cal. Penal Code S.16740). https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf .....Have a great day!

Kevin, Lever Rifles have zero restrictions in CA and is legal to purchase and own in Cali. Cheers and stay safe!
