It does not have a thumb safety. There quite a few unreliable descriptions lately, I believe the Product Information fields are automatically generated.

Greg, buds for some reason has been making this typo on alot of Glocks lately. This does not have a manual thumb safety. Hope this helps.

Greg, this is simply a listing error by Buds. Glock Firearms do not come with Manual Safeties from the factory. Many wish they did but, Glock is not distributing the joy. Cheers and stay safe!
