Paul, this has a Striker Block Safety - The internal Striker Block Safety is designed to prevent the firearm from firing unless the trigger is depressed. The HELLCAT firearm has a loaded chamber indicator . The indicator allows you to observe whether a cartridge is in the chamber. It does not have a magazine disconnect safety --- it will fire a round in the chamber with the magazine removed. Have a great day!
