Loren, as others have said since this model does not have a heavy barrel it's illegal in Maryland. Sounds weird but an ar15 must have a heavy barrel to be legal in Maryland. Sorry but hope this helps.

Loren, this model does not have a heavy contour barrel, which MD requires to be state compliant. As you know, barrels that are not heavy contour commit way more crimes than heavy barrels. (sorry couldn't help that) Have a great day!
