I can relate to what you are saying Richard. Layaway should be a choice same as buying anything else. I think Buds puts slower/less popular items on 180 days to prompt more folks to get them out of inventory. More popular stuff gets 90 days. Folks such as myself, have to budget carefully to get the items we want and sometimes it takes me a little longer to cover things. I would relook at your wife's suggestion as sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get what you want.
Here is a suggestion save for it by buying Buds gift cards until you get enough to make a big down payment and then put it on the 90 day layaway
Hi Richard, I would give Buds a call, speak to a manager to see if they can work something out for you. Otherwise the gift card idea is the way to go like Randy mentioned.
I agree with you... My example is that Buds had a 1911 Iver Johnson zombie 45 that I wanted... When I went to buy it... It was out of stock. If I could have put it on a 180 day layaway I would have bought it. I wouldn't need that long to pay for it... But I didn't quite have the down payment.
