Took possession of SDS Imports Zigana PX-9, 2nd. gen on 01/28/2022. Visual inspection did not reveal any imperfections. At the target range I loaded both 18 round magazines with Winchester 9mm 115gr. FMJ. After firing 36 rounds I noticed 1/2 moon shaped silver scaring on the bottom interior edge of the muzzle end. Any suggestions on how this could have happened? I contacted SDS Imports requesting a RMA , via phone/email, which included a closeup photo of muzzle end, 5 days later, no response.

John, I don't know exactly but,  if the case was damage free, it may have been a manufacturing defect that slipped by quality control. Hope SDS takes care of you just the same. Cheers and stay safe!

John, depends how bad it is. It's possibly just from the pistol being broken in. If it's deep then it's possible something's out of spec. I'd recommend doing what you have already done and contacting the manufacturer. Most likely you haven't received an answer yet due to the extremely high demand for firearms right now and being short staffed like all firearms manufacturers are at the moment. I'd give them a couple more days and if you still haven't heard anything contact them again. You could also take it to a local gunsmith/gunshop and see if it's normal or something serious.
