Eric, CA just means it has been certified to be sold in the State of CA (On the CA DOJ Handgun Roster). Trigger pull averages 5lbs. Cheers and stay safe!

Mine as around a 5 lb trigger to be ca certified the manufacturer must send CA a gun and pay them to test it it also must have thing like a LCI and a mag disconnect If even the color is different they must submit and pay for the testing to conform that the additional color is CA compliant

Eric, the trigger break right around 4.5-5 pounds. California compliant just means rock island armory paid $200 to put it on Californias approved list. Hope this helps.
