they can be given you can go to the order status/account tab come down to the section that says gift cards select View and email my gift cards open the click on email to friend and it will send him the code to use the gift card you can also select gift when you purchase it and buds will send them a gift email

Anthony, they can be given as a present. Just log in, click on the menu, then order status/account, lastly view my gift cards. That will show your gift card purchases. The gift card will have a code to enter during checkout, you can email the the gift card to someone or you can print the gift card out and give it to them that way. Either way very simple. Anthony, gift cards can be given to other people as gifts. Make sure you are logged in , go to 'My Account', and on bottom right of page you will see 'Gift Cards - View and email my gift cards'. From there you can email them to recipient or print out a certificate for the person to use. Have a great day!
