Some people are mentioning that the top finish wears off easily, particularly if using the holster. What do you see and have underneath when this happens? Is it bare metal or does it still have a protective coating of some kind? Thanks in advance!

Tony, I've had a canik tp9 sf elite for around 3 years and have been somewhat tough on it and the coating has held up great, alot better than most firearm coatings. Funny you mention it cause was just looking at it the other day thinking wow it still looks new. I have only used the holster a couple times though.

It's just a Cerakote finish.  Any gun store/gunsmith that does Cerakote can refinish it.
