Robert, this is rated for pistols or rifles. The maximum impact of the bullet must be below 3000 FPS. Not rated for .50BMG. Have a great day!
Robert, you sure can. This will handle just about any pistol caliber including 9mm and 45scp. This will also handle rifle calibers like 223/5.56, 30-30, 30-06 and so on but would recommend atleast a 100 yards between you and the target for rifle rounds to avoid pitting in the target. This is 3/8 inch ar500 steel so it can handle just about anything you throw at it. Hope this helps.
