Danny, although I have no experience with this particular firearm I would assume that you are correct about the dust cover. Most "budget" ak style firearms cannot hold zero with the dust cover mounts. Given that this is in 12 gage I expect the problem to be even more noticeable. If you buy perhaps look into 3rd party railed gas tubes.

Danny, SDS got this one right. No issues with various scopes or red dots retaining zero. Cheers and stay safe!
