Kemp, yes I've done it pretty much since I started shooting. For 22lrs unless you're competition shooting doubt it'll make much of a difference but I still do it. I mostly just worry about doing it in my bigger calibers. For that you run a bore snake threw after every round for 10 rounds. After 10 rounds I do it every 5 rounds until I hit 50 rounds. The theory is it will help smooth out any rough spots in the barrel for better accuracy. Does it make a difference I'm not really sure but I do it for peace of mind. Hope this helps.
