Is it legal to swap out the brace for one that folds? Can you recommend a brace that's compatible but still keeps the pistol length legal? I live in WA.

George, they make adapters so you can use the existing buffer tube and stock. For some reason it won't let me share the one I was trying to recommend. Just Google AR-15 folding brace adapter and you will have plenty of options. That would be your best option for a folding brace. Hope this helps.
