Jim, I just measured the ejector on my longer barreled heritage rough rider, It is 3.5 inches. The ejector on this is roughly the same length as the barrel Wich is 3.5 inches, so the ejector on this is the same size as the standard long barrel versions ejector. So not sure why the one person couldn't get them to eject but its not ejector Length. Hope this helps.
