I saw in a video that the 2017 has a pressed pin to hold the grips instead of the older models have screws.Am I buying a 2017 with an old stock picture shown?,or am I getting what"s left of the old inventory ?It's on lay away so I won't know till I get it.

Hi Phil, one would honestly need an actual Serial Number to have the exact date of manufacture question answered by Taurus. Unfortunately Buds does not give out serial numbers. I wish I had an accurate answer but, you will have to receive the pistol for a definitive answer.
