Steven, unfortunately this will not fit. Read several reviews of people who tried this on their hk mp5 22lr with no luck. I would recommend googling ( 1913 ADAPTER FOR HK MP5 22LR ) so then you can add a brace using the adapters picatinny rail, Wich will give plenty of options. Sorry but hope this helps.
