Kirk, this does not have a manual thumb safety. This has a trigger blade safety requiring constant pressure on the trigger/blade to set of the trigger. Hope this helps.

Kirk, no manual thumb safety. It has a trigger safety, the trigger safety stops the trigger from traveling rearward through inertia in case the pistol is dropped. When the trigger is intentionally pulled, the trigger safety is instantly deactivated. Have a great day!
