Greg, you're thinking of the charter arms pitbull, it doesn't use moonclips. You have the Ruger Convertible .357/38/9mm Wich is a amazing revolver. The S&W 547 doesn't use moonclips. I highly recommend googling ( 9mm revolvers without moonclips ) alot of people looking for the same thing you are. Hope this helps.
