Alexander, this does not have a rifled barrel, it has a smooth bore Barrel. In a smooth bore you want rifled slugs for best accuracy. This takes rem chokes and Includes a modified choke. I would recommend buying a cylinder or improved cylinder choke for the best accuracy. With a Cylinder or improved cylinder choke this will work great with rifled slugs/hunting. Hope this helps.
