I understand night sights can last give or take 12 years. My question is, is it 12 years from manufacturer date or 12 years from when i take them out of their packaging to install my new sights??? Thank you!

Francisco, unfortunately it's from manufacturers date. Not from when you take it out of the package. Sorry but hope this helps.
