Michael, plenty of great options. Mossberg 500, Remington 870, a cheaper but great option is maverick 88. If you really want high capacity something like the DP-12 holds 14 rounds. Mossberg 590 shockwave, UTAS UTS-15. Depends if you want tactical or the more classic look. Hope this helps and good luck with your choice.
Mossberg 500. I have one 25 years old and one 3 months old. Both function flawlessly. If you're thinking home defense, consider 20 guage over 12 guage. It more than does the job with buckshot and is easier to handle.
