Patrick, my choice would be the Escort Cobra between the two based on more favorable reviews for the Escort. Patrick, I'd go with the emperor arms Cobra 12. I've read quite a few good reviews on it. Good luck with your choice.

If you are on a budget you can always go with the Duke Ultra. It comes with pistol grip attached but Emperor Arms also has butt stock with the one currently sold on buds. You can add attachments and modify it as you get a better idea of what you want in your shotgun. Then buy one of the more expensive models.
