Christopher, yes because this is a 22lr it is Massachusetts compliant. Rimfire rifles dont have the same restrictions as center fire calibers. Unfortunately the 20 round magazine is not. During checkout buds will have an option to remove the magazine but they wont replace it. So you will have to purchase a state compliant 10rd magazine separately. I have been debating on buying one of these for awhile, out of all of the 22lr AR-15s I like this one the best. Hope this helps.
