Bought it new, just got it. Cleaned and oiled it twice.
The pump slide is very hard to push forward after it has been pulled fully rearward. It feels as if there is something that needs to be overcome. Is this normal or does my shotgun require some attention?
I've only shot it once and put 25 rounds through it, but it's hard to believe this will eventually become very smooth as it should be.

Steven, I'd try working the action alot, couple hundred times. Ive had several guns, not just shotguns feel that way and they eventually got better. If not I'd contact Winchester at (800) 945-5237. Hopefully it'll smooth out for you.

Steven, it normally should not have that much resistance. A little arm grease with racking for a while and then applying some dry film or graphite lube to the tube and slide rails should smooth it up quite a bit. Cheers and stay safe!
