Donald, unfortunately no, this is not legal in new jersey due to the Pistol grip. Any semi automatic shotgun with a pistol grip is prohibited in new jersey. If you want a tactical shotgun I'd recommend a pump action since they dont have the same strict laws. Sorry but hope this helps.
