Coleman, this is made in Australia. I've used this brand several times and it's always been reliable and accurate. As for the manufacturers date there should be a lot number you can Google to find the manufacturers date. We're just customers as yourself not buds employees so without the can we can't really give a date. Hope this helps.

Thunder from Down Under! Australian Defense Industries! These rugged Aussies have been cranking out military grade toys since 1888. It's the same stuff which Australian Defense Industries produces for their nation's military, and it is identical to America's own M855. At 62 grains it is most accurate when fired from a 1:9 or 1:8 twist barrel (although 1:7 is by all means acceptable). Like the M855, the F1 bullet features a steel tip beneath its jacket. This does two important things: It helps the bullet penetrate tough obstacles including 1/8" sheet metal, and it makes the bullet magnetic. Be careful about which ranges you take this ammo to! There is no way for us to know the date of manufacture, but it is not old stock, if that's what you mean. Have a great day!
