Proceso, the G42 is considered a Generation 4 pistol. Glocks subcompacts come with only (2) Magazines no matter the Gen. Cheers and stay safe!

Proceso, everything I'm reading says this is a 3rd gen. If you Google the upc ( UI4250201 ) you find more information. Hope this helps.
