Raymond, the Hi point is actually a good functioning platform despite public opinion. The modifications enhance function as much on this carbine as much as the more "Expensive" stuff.

I have had mine for a while. The action is smooth and have not had a hiccup since the first 50 rounds fired. The length is good for close quarters and recoil is negligible in my opinion. For the money not a bad firearm.
