Arthur, I don't believe this is legal in Illinois. Honestly think Illinois tries making their gun laws so confusing people give up trying to buy a firearm. So I'd recommend contacting your local FFL dealer because they will have the most up to date laws. Sorry can't give a definite answer but hope this helps some.
