The great thing about the Remington 870 is the barrel is easily changed for various barrel lengths and chokes for different applications. You can even get a slug barrel with rifle sights. Yes, they have changeable choke tubes unless you go way back (like pre-70's), when they had fixed chokes.

Theodore, Bud's description is not accurate. This gun has a fixed cylinder bore, does not take removable choke tubes. Have a great day!
