Michelle, yes this is CA compliant. It is a 'featureles' gun, meaning it has none of the 'evil' features which would ban it in CA. It is not listed under Bud's CA compliant guns, so you may need to contact Bud's customer service to purchase. 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
