Forest, looks like it can be cocked while it's folded but when folded the trigger is enclosed into the grip. So there's absolutely no way to accidentally pull the trigger when it's folded. Hope this helps.

Forest, When the grip is in the closed position you are unable to c0ck the gun. The locking mechanism of the grip prevents the hammer from moving backwards into a firing position. Have a great day!
