I just purchased Iver Johnson PSA 12 Turkey 12 gauge pump shotgun.
After each round fired the receiver would jam and not eject the spent shell without heavy handed pressure with butt of stock resting on the ground and a quick down pump action would free up receiver. I did not notice what choke came in the shotgun but left it in place.
First test rounds were 3 each Rio Buck Shot 9 pellet 2-3/4" . At 30 yards pattern center of aim open sites to left 18" and Low 18".
Any suggestions ?

Lawrence, I would first lube the bolt and action with a quality lube, add another brand of full power loads to the mix to rule out the ammunition. You want to use the Modified or Improved and check the pattern again. Also make sure the sights are inline with the barrel and not canted. Ammunition can have drastically different patterning characteristics so use different brands to help weed out issues. If no improvement, Iver Johnson would be the next stop for advice and/or service.
