Yes, most any barrel can be threaded for the addition of a suppressor/silensor Matthew.

almost any barrel can be modified by a good gunsmith (threaded) but it would help us help you if you included a gun model number

For a rifle, say a bolt action - a gunsmith can thread the barrel. For an AR, replace the flash hider, for a pistol, you'll most likely need and OEM or aftermarket threaded barrel. Suppressors are a TON of fun, and I highly recommend going through the hassle of getting one!
