Mark, no, the muzzle brake is intergrated into the barrel, so it cannot be removed. It's not a ps90 but here's a link to a AR-15 pistol chambered in 5.7×28 I've been looking at and thinking about buying for awhile and it does have a removable muzzle brake and 1/2×28 threaded barrel.
