Buds does not allow ammo returns, most retailers do not allow the return of ammo after it leaves the store. It can be a liability legally so this is going to be the policy most anywhere you go. The one exception is going to be pawn shops that are also licensed ffls. Which is what you could do with that ammo, sell it to the pawn shop, they'll likely not give you full value for it but they may be open to a trade, and at least your getting something out of the purchase, good luck.
George, unfortunately it is not allowed for consumer returns of ammo. You can likely easily sell it online and ship by UPS or at a local Pawn Shop / FFL to recover some cost. Sorry this happened though. Cheers and good luck with selling!
George, unfortunately ammo is not returnable. I have yet to find a dealer that allows ammo returns. I have bought incorrect ammo more than a few times. I just look at it this way, gives me an excuse to buy another firearm. Sorry but hope this helps.
