William, it works but just gives a little more grip to the thumb and fore finger when racking. Someone with strength issues will still likely have issues. Cheers and stay safe!
William, the ez tab is two little tabs on the slide under the rear sight to help you get a better grip to rack the slide. It's not going to make the pull any lighter but will help a good bit so you can get a good grip to rack the slide. It will definitely be easier than most compact sized semi auto pistols. If you're looking for a compact 9mm that's easy to rack I'd recommend the Walther ccp m2, it's one of the best recommended pistols for people with arthritis. Here's a link to one if interested. Hope this helps, link here........... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/139634/walther+arms+5083500+ccp+m2+9mm+3.54+8+1+black+cerakote+polymer+frame+black+cerakote+steel+slide+black+polymer+grip
William, one of the issues micro pistols are susceptible to is that the same extra strong springs they to keep recoil and muzzle rise minimal also make it difficult for some to manually work the slide. Smith & Wesson has incorporated the EZ tab to help to make racking the slide easier, and there seems to be some other aspects of the EZ system in place. Operating the slide of the CSX is easier than many other smaller guns. Have a great day!
