Francis, this is single and double action. You can pull the hammer back for a short, light single action trigger pull or just pull the trigger for a quick but heavy double action pull. Hope this helps.

Francis, both. Straight trigger pull for double action and hammer pull back for a double action fire. DA pull averages 8.5 to 9lbs and SA trigger pull averages 3.5 to 4lbs. Cheers and stay safe!
