Brent, Ambidextrous Manual Safety, Drop Safety. On the model with a manual safety, the slide can be racked for loading and unloading the chamber with the safety in its engaged position. The safety is designed to block the trigger from moving to the full extent of its rearward travel. With the safety engaged, the trigger will travel through its first two stages, but the safety prevents it from reaching its sear-release point.
