Billy, this is double action first shot then single action subsequent shots Striker Firing System. Heavier 1st trigger pull then lighter following trigger pulls.

it is a DOA so the trigger pull will be the same for all the shots see link for different type triggers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigger_(firearms)

I cant describe how the triggers work because of the auto blocking software picking up on certain words (telling about hammer back)

First pull is long, second pull is short reset. It does have re-strike capability. I like the action on this one.
