CAR handguards with single heat shields and carbine length gas system. This is pretty much your run-of-the-mill Milspec M4 style AR. I hope this helps!

Patrick, this has your standard two piece carbine length drop in handguard. If you are trying to replace it using the existing gas block/front sight post you need a ( carbine length drop in handguard ). If you want to replace the handguard for a free float this uses a .750 size gas block. So any .750 low profile gas block will work. I highly recommend adding a free float handguard if for no other reason it helps with accuracy. Hope this helps
