I recommend contacting Armscor (distributor of Rock Island Armory firearms) representative for this. Contact them HERE ( https://www.armscor.com/contact-us/usa-contacts/ ) I hope this helps!
Richard, yes Sir you can no issue. Cheers and stay safe!
Richard, yes, you can have the hammer down on a loaded chamber. This has a floating firing pin and a transfer bar safety, so it's perfectly safe to load all 6 rounds. Hope this helps.
Richard, yes you safely can. This gun utilizes a spring-loaded, floating firing pin coupled with a transfer bar mounted on and controlled by the trigger. Only when the trigger is fully pulled does the transfer bar interpose itselt between the firing pin and falling hammer, which allows the firing pin to contact the primer. This type of system ensures greater safety and dependability, and makes it virtually impossible for any accidental discharge to occur even under abnormal circumstances or rough handling. The only time the gun will fire is when the trigger is fully pulled to the rear!
